Permanent Position
GI Pro are recruiting for both a CNC Miller and a CNC Turner for our precision engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of machinery.
The role:
- You will be programming, setting and operating either milling or turning machines (online)
- Using Mazatrol controls, but other control usage will be accepted.
- Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality
- Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings
- Producing bespoke and low batch work components
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Person Specification:
- CNC Milling or CNC Turning experience is essential
- Programming experience would be preferred, however strong setting and operating experience would be accepted
- Ideally worked with Mazatrol controls but not essential
- Ability to work from technical drawings and use measurement tools
- Positive and pro-active approach
