7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday

Permanent Position

GI Pro are recruiting for both a CNC Miller and a CNC Turner for our precision engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of machinery.

The role:

  • You will be programming, setting and operating either milling or turning machines (online)
  • Using Mazatrol controls, but other control usage will be accepted.
  • Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality
  • Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings
  • Producing bespoke and low batch work components
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification:

  • CNC Milling or CNC Turning experience is essential
  • Programming experience would be preferred, however strong setting and operating experience would be accepted
  • Ideally worked with Mazatrol controls but not essential
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and use measurement tools
  • Positive and pro-active approach
