We are currently looking for a Machine Operative for our client in Northampton.
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (Apply online only)
Location: Northampton, NN4
Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operative:
- Operating a wide range of machines as trained
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Loading and unloading machines efficiently and safely
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults
- Completing all safety checks prior to operating the machines and recording appropriately
- Ensuring quality checks are carried out at appropriate intervals and reporting any issues or concerns
- Ability to correctly use and read a range of quality checking equipment
- Emptying the machines in a safe manner
- Returning any quality checking equipment once a job has finished
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience within the manufacturing industry
- Keen knowledge of blueprints and measurements
- Able to communicate between different departments
- Running fault reports
