Role: Installation Technician - Height Safety Equipment

Location: Durham and North East coverage (field-based / travel required)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + overtime + bonuses (high earning potential)

The role involves:

  • Carrying out site-based installations and testing/maintenance of height safety equipment in line with manufacturer requirements and drawings.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of site safety and customer service at all times.
  • Completing clear and detailed paperwork following installations and inspections.
  • Recording inspection findings accurately to support certification and/or remedial quotations.
  • Identifying additional requirements for fall protection equipment or training on customer sites.
  • Supporting the Team Leader/senior management with additional duties as required.

What we're looking for:

Essential:
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass DBS/CRB/Scottish Disclosure
  • Must be comfortable working at height
Preferred:
  • Experience in a mobile, site-based role
Desirable (can be gained on the job):
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • Blue CSCS card
  • Working at Heights Training
  • Equipment Inspection Training
