Network Algorithm Systems Engineer / Southampton / 53.50 per hour PAYE
Our client is seeking a Network Algorithm Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge research into the future of airborne mesh networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of network design and communications technology. You\\\'ll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside subcontractors and partners to explore novel networking algorithms and simulation techniques. The role offers a mix of technical challenge, strategic thinking, and the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate different approaches to airborne mesh network design.
- Analyse and adapt network protocols and routing algorithms to meet specific project needs.
- Design and run simulations using third-party or bespoke tools.
- Interpret results and propose improvements to network architecture.
- Contribute to standardisation efforts and technical documentation.
What We\\\'re Looking For
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and their roles within the stack.
- Ability to design meaningful experiments and interpret complex data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly to varied audiences.

- Must be eligible to undertake security vetting to SC level.

This is a 6 month temporary role with the potential to extend.
Site based 37 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday.
