Our client based in Netherfield are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their family run and well-established team. Our client specialises in the structural industry including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, and balconies.
MIG Welder Job Description:
- Working within the heavy steel industry
- Welding using drawings
- Working out angles and measurements
- MIG Welding
- Fabricating from scratch
- Confident taking the job from start to finish
- Working with Mild Steel and some stainless
- Working with gauges up to 120mm
- Use of machinery including grinders, press, guillotine
- Confident checking own work
Essential Skills:
- Time served Welder or Fabricator
- Able to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges
Desirable Skill:
- Overhead crane license
- Apprentice trained
- TIG welding is advantageous but not essential as mostly MIG
Package:
- £15 per hour
- Overtime paid at a premium
