Overview

Manufacturing Operative / Southampton / £15 per hour

Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is looking for a Manufacturing Operative focused on innovation and excellence to join their team in Southampton. The role will be to support various processes in line with their Southampton site Manufacturing Process Instructions, ensuring all products are delivered to their customers in line with their quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Work in line with business processes and procedures, SAP, and local Inspection standard Operating processes
  • Accurately perform the required Manufacturing Processes in line with the site Quality Procedures
  • Control and process all relevant Manufacturing & Quality documentation
  • Support inventory checks
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability

Qualifications / Requirements

  • You must be computer literate and able to complete set tasks accurately & precisely.
  • Neat and tidy work ethic in line with 5s principles
  • Manually dexterous
  • Must be prepared to work as part of a small, closely knit team who can work unsupervised to complete set tasks
  • Must be a UK National who is willing to undertake security vetting to SC level
  • Able to review and follow and carry out Quality Instructions
  • Liaise with support functions to ensure customer deliveries are maintained at all times
  • Be flexible and able to support a number of Process operations - these include cleanrooms (at Class 6 Standard) and Controlled Working Environments

This is a one year temporary contract with the potential to extend.
