Gi Pro are working with a well-established steel fabrication business in Nottingham who are looking to add an experienced Profiler to their weekend night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate profiling machinery (e.g. plasma/Oxy-fuel) to cut steel plate to specification
- Interpret engineering drawings, cutting lists and work instructions
- Set up, calibrate and adjust machines to achieve accurate cuts and high-quality finishes
- Carry out basic maintenance and pre-use checks on machinery
- Monitor production quality and make adjustments to optimise output and minimise waste
- Work closely with production, welding and fabrication teams to meet schedules
- Complete all relevant paperwork and data entry as required
- Adhere to all health & safety, quality and housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Profiler / Profiling Machine Operator within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment
- Confident reading and working from technical/engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of steel grades, plate thicknesses and cutting tolerances
- Ability to operate CNC profiling equipment (plasma/oxy) - programming experience advantageous
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good awareness of health & safety in a workshop/production environment
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working weekend night shifts

Working: Saturday night & Sunday night (weekend nights only)
Pay: £21.00 per hour (weekly paid via Gi Pro)
