Fabricator Welder required immediately for a well-established manufacturing company in Nottingham. The role will involve the production of a variety of different metal structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate metal structures from scratch
  • MIG welding
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders
  • Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications

Experience Required:

  • Strong fabrication experience ideally in a heavy engineering environment
  • Experience with different welding techniques especially MIG
  • Ability to work from detailed technical drawings
