A leading manufacturing company based in Telford (TF7) is recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join a fast-paced production environment. This role combines hands-on assembly with picking and packing duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble products/components to specification in a busy manufacturing setting
- Read and interpret technical/engineering drawings and follow work instructions
- Pick parts and materials accurately for production and orders
- Pack finished products ready for despatch, ensuring correct labelling and quantities
- Complete basic quality checks and report defects/issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with H&S standards
- Previous experience in assembly/manufacturing
- Confident reading and working from drawings
- Picking and packing experience within a production/warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to work at pace
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- £12.80 per hour
- Consistent daytime hours with an early finish every Friday
