How to prepare for a job interview at Gi Group

Know Your Fiori Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on your SAP Fiori configuration skills, especially in relation to S/4HANA. Be prepared to discuss specific Fiori apps you've worked with, particularly in Core Finance, Treasury, and Tax. This will show that you not only understand the technical side but also how it applies to the business.

Understand GRC Access Controls

Since this role involves aligning catalogue and role design with GRC controls, it's crucial to have a solid grasp of User Access Reviews (UAR) and Segregation of Duties (SoD). Be ready to explain how you've implemented these controls in past projects and how they ensure compliance and security.

Prepare for Stakeholder Management Questions

Stakeholder management is key in this role, so think about examples where you've successfully collaborated with different teams. Prepare to discuss how you’ve gathered requirements, provided configuration guidance, and resolved issues during SIT/UAT phases. This will demonstrate your ability to work effectively across departments.

Documentation is Key

You'll need to produce configuration documentation and manage transports, so be prepared to talk about your approach to documentation. Highlight any tools or methods you use to keep your documentation clear and organised, as well as how you ensure it meets governance standards.
