Client: ICT & Electronics Organisation Unit | Planning & Project Management (Digital Backbone Portfolio)
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of software, infrastructure, and technology remediation projects within a major Digital Backbone Portfolio. Reporting into the Programme Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of projects, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver software and infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps
- Coordinate internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies with clear mitigation plans
- Track delivery performance and provide governance reporting (status, RAID, budget, milestones)
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance, security, and change management processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven delivery of software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder management and supplier management capability
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Demonstrable risk and issue management experience
- Working knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
Desirable
- Experience delivering one or more of the following: infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, cyber security, obsolescence remediation
- PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent certification
