We have an excellent opportunity for a Contract Systems Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace organisation within their Future Combat Air line of business, on an initial 12‑month contract.
You will be part of a specialist team developing advanced systems for key aerospace customers, working on cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) products and collaborating with subject matter experts across multiple domains.
Role Overview:
- Support the development and refinement of system requirements
- Contribute to system design and interface definition
- Assist engineering domains with design and integration activities
- Potential to follow the full engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through integration, qualification, verification and validation
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Systems modelling and analysis using Matlab and Cameo
- Experience working in an agile engineering environment
- Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, test, V&V)
Location & Working Pattern:
Based on-site in Luton 80-100% on-site requirement (4 to 5 days per week) due to the nature of the work.
