This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong CNC knowledge and proven leadership experience to take ownership of a busy department, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As CNC Production Manager, you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day running of the CNC department. You'll be hands-on in leading a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and supporting CNC operators, planning and allocating workloads
  • Leading daily team briefings and ensuring smooth shift handovers
  • Monitoring production output, efficiency, and quality using data-driven tools
  • Coaching and developing team members, supporting recruitment and onboarding
  • Driving a strong safety culture and maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards
  • Coordinating with the maintenance team to keep machinery in top condition

We're looking for a proactive and organized leader with:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong ability to work towards and meet key production targets under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and ensuring team alignment with business objectives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
  • Experience managing resources such as raw materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

Desirables

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to monitor production performance.
