Gi Pro are recruiting Facilities Maintenance Operatives for a London-based property maintenance company working on a major Notting Hill Genesis contract. You must be based in, or able to cover, the Notting Hill or Croydon areas.
You'll be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in residential properties, mainly for social housing.
The Role:
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repair work in occupied residential properties
- Tasks may include:
- Basic carpentry
- Patch plastering and painting
- Fencing and guttering repairs
- Door adjustments and sealant work
- Basic plumbing tasks
- Paving repairs and general handyman duties
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in general property maintenance and/or social housing repairs
- Strong all-round skills (carpentry, basic plumbing, basic plastering/painting, general handyman)
- Full UK driving licence (you will be using a van to attend sites)
- Good customer service skills and ability to work in occupied properties
- Strong awareness of health & safety
Desirable:
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working for housing associations or local authorities
