Lead the digital and Amazon growth strategy for a portfolio of major consumer brands. Join a Leading Consumer Business Driving E‑commerce Growth. Are you an experienced Digital Marketing Lead with deep expertise in Amazon Advertising, e‑commerce optimisation, PPC, DSP, and digital retail media? This is your opportunity to own the full digital and e‑commerce agenda for the UK & Ireland — shaping strategy, driving performance, and delivering high‑impact commercial results across Amazon and leading online retail partners. Join a collaborative, ambitious team in a business investing heavily in digital growth and innovation.

The Role

As Digital Marketing Lead, you’ll define and execute the digital strategy across Amazon and key e‑commerce channels. You’ll manage always‑on digital media, elevate content standards, and partner closely with an external Amazon agency to drive performance. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Sales, Brand, Finance and Global teams to create a seamless, high‑performing consumer journey — while leading and developing one direct report.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning and optimisation of Amazon PPC, DSP and retail media activity to exceed commercial targets.
  • Act as the main contact for the Amazon agency, overseeing AMS budgets, KPIs, briefs, campaign delivery and performance.
  • Analyse Vendor Central insights (SFR, keyword data, trends, performance metrics) to guide optimisation and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to shape proactive channel plans.
  • Lead creation and optimisation of best‑in‑class product detail pages (PDPs), A+ content and e‑commerce SEO across Amazon and other retail platforms.
  • Ensure taxonomy, imagery, copy and brand messaging consistently meet high UX and brand standards.
  • Oversee digital content and user experience across brand websites, driving continuous testing, improvements and content upgrades.
  • Grow visibility and sales across pure‑play and omnichannel retail partners through test‑and‑learn initiatives and strategic media activation.
  • Build monthly KPI dashboards with actionable insights and recommendations for internal and global stakeholders.
  • Implement digital best practice playbooks and support global teams with local performance intelligence.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Brand, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure channel plans align with stock, promotions, product launches and commercial priorities.
  • Represent e‑commerce and digital in cross‑functional forums, clearly communicating performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Line‑manage, coach and develop one direct report — fostering a culture of continuous learning, ownership and excellence.
  • Strengthen digital capability across the wider team through knowledge sharing and best practice guidance.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience in consumer/FMCG marketing
  • 7+ years in digital marketing, with significant experience in Amazon retail media
  • Expert knowledge of AMS, DSP, PPC, SEM, retail media and e‑commerce marketing
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PDP optimisation, A+ content and taxonomy
  • Hands‑on experience with Vendor Central
  • Proven success managing external digital or Amazon agencies
  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Commercial, data‑driven mindset with strong analytical capability
  • Experience leading or coaching team members
