A leading global organisation is seeking experienced, qualified British Sign Language Interpreters for permanent, home-based positions within its Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) service. Successful candidates will provide high-quality interpreting support to Deaf and hearing service users across NHS, local authority and wider public sector settings.
The Role
- BSL-English interpreting - Provide accurate, professional interpretation between BSL and spoken English via live video calls.
- Public sector support - Support communication for a broad range of NHS, local authority and public sector appointments.
- Professional standards - Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and consistently high professional standards.
- Remote working - Work from home within a predictable Monday-Friday schedule (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays).
Hours Available
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm (excluding bank holidays)
- Part-time: Wednesday: 12:30 pm-4:00 pm, Thursday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Friday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm
- Alternative hours may be considered for suitable applicants.
