Our client is currently looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join their team and support the Transport Manager with managing their own fleet and third party hauliers. They can offer further training/qualifications within the role, after successful completion of the probation period. They are hoping to find someone as soon as possible to take on this busy and varied role.

Benefits of the role:

  • Week days only - 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, with an hour for lunch (they will consider a 5 pm finish and a 30 minute lunch)
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays

Duties:

  • Planning and optimising UK-wide routes
  • Ensuring full compliance with WTD and DVSA regulations
  • Working closely with drivers, administrators and the Transport Manager to maximise efficiency and support smooth day to day operations
