The Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in installing and maintaining temporary power systems in line with BS7671 and BS7909 standards. You will also support a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring the campus remains safe, efficient, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of temporary power systems for events
  • Electrical maintenance and installation work
  • Inspection, testing, and certification
  • Emergency lighting testing and repair
  • Working with lighting controls and BMS systems
  • Servicing and fault finding on HVAC systems
  • Supporting energy management initiatives
  • Overseeing external service partners and ensuring compliance
  • Completing risk assessments, work permits, and maintenance procedures
  • Ensuring adherence to all Health & Safety regulations

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A qualified Electrician or Electrically skilled Engineer
  • Experienced in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial setting
