About the role
GI Group UK are recruiting General Warehouse Operatives for a busy parcel distribution centre in Lincoln. This is a fast-paced warehouse role handling parcels within a busy distribution environment.
Key duties:
- Taking parcels from a conveyor belt
- Placing parcels into designated locations on the warehouse floor
- Manual handling of parcels of various sizes and weights
- Moving parcels around the warehouse safely and efficiently
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Following health & safety and manual handling procedures at all times
About you:
- Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is an advantage but not essential
- Comfortable with continuous manual handling and being on your feet for the shift
- Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player
- Able to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines
