Maintenance Assistant(Handyman) Canterbury | Temporary assignment 4 weeks| Mon-Fri | 13.71 per hour 37.5 hours a week.

We re looking for a Maintenance Assistant to help prepare student accommodation for the new academic intake.

This is a practical, hands on role supporting the on site maintenance team.

Main Duties General maintenance after student move out: painting, basic tiling, minor repairs, plumbing support, drain clearing, furniture assembly, and moving mattresses/white goods.

Assist with statutory checks: fire safety equipment, water temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning, and emergency lighting tests.

Support with rubbish removal and occasional cleaning.

Daily manual handling and lifting.

Essential Skills Level Maths of hours work may be required.
