We are seeking a proactive and detail driven Industrial Engineer to support our Operations and Launch Teams in delivering safe, efficient and cost effective production processes for seating systems. You will play a key role in developing robust manufacturing methods, preparing facilities for launch, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives under pressure, and can balance hands on shop floor activity with structured engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop core manufacturing documentation including SWIs, PFMEAs, MOST studies, layouts and line balance activities
  • Manage launch project tasks ensuring delivery to required standards, timescales and budgets
  • Coordinate suppliers and contractors to support facility readiness and installation work
  • Generate manpower maps and support major facility installations
  • Create innovative engineering solutions to resolve production issues and improve efficiency
  • Support KPI reporting by providing accurate weekly and monthly data
  • Report on project status and attend cross functional meetings when required
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures and recommend improvements where beneficial
  • Carry out additional tasks as required to meet business and customer needs
