We are recruiting motivated and hardworking Industrial Painters / Blasters to join our team. This is a hands-on, in-person role working with protective coatings and abrasive blasting in a production environment.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Full-time: Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30
Key duties:
- Prepare and mask surfaces, carry out grit blasting and surface preparation
- Apply protective coatings using airless spray pumps and other spray methods
- Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with coating specifications
- Maintain equipment and cleaning of work areas
- Follow COSHH and site health & safety procedures when handling hazardous substances
- Work to a high standard with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within the team
Essential experience & qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' industrial painting/blasting experience
- Skilled in application of protective coatings using airless spray pumps
- Grit blasting experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of health & safety controls for hazardous substances
- Able to work accurately and reliably with minimal supervision
Desirable:
- ICATS certification
- Metal spraying experience
- IPAF 3A & 3B, MEWP and PASMA
- Full driving licence
- Working knowledge of NACE and NORSOK coating specifications
- FLT licence and overhead crane experience
Hours & Location:
Permanent, full-time Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (8-hour shift); overtime when required
