As a Junior Business Partner within the HR team, this role supports the delivery of key people initiatives, employee lifecycle processes, and engagement activities. It bridges HR operations and business partnering, providing both administrative and early advisory input across a range of areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the P&C Director and Senior P&C Business Partner
  • Provide a high level of administrative service to support management of the business
  • Support organisational change processes, including restructures and contractual updates, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation
  • Maintain and regularly update our staff list with precision and data integrity
  • Coordinate staff recognition programs, including issuing spot awards and supporting the delivery of quarterly and annual award initiatives
  • Facilitate health related assessments by liaising with HR Operations and external providers
  • Co-ordinate and continuously improve the onboarding process and content, ensuring managers and management assistants are equipped with clear guidance
  • Draft and issue letters across the range of HR processes
  • Own the probation review process, ensuring managers actively manage employees in probation
  • Manage pre-employment processes: send offer letters, respond to candidate enquiries, complete hiring cases, and conduct right-to-work checks
  • Log and monitor employee training requests and manage the training budget spend
  • Assist in planning and delivering internal events, such as conferences and training sessions
  • Support on social value reporting, providing accurate data and summaries on a quarterly basis
  • Develop and distribute the HR newsletter and support internal communications through ad hoc content creation

Your qualifications as a Business Partner:

  • Bachelor degree (in HR, P&CM, law, Psychology, Business or Economics).
  • Several years of working experience within the P&C field with knowledge and experience from working in several areas within HR.
  • If you have experience from matrix, global or change intense organisations that will be considered an advantage.

This role can be 37.5 hours/week. 5 day/week, based around a Hybrid working model, where you would need to work in the London office 2 or 3 days each week. Therefore, it is necessary to live within commuting distance of our client's central London location.
