Our client is looking for a motivated and hands-on Sheet Metal Operative to join their established team. This is a varied and practical role that will support the day-to-day operation of their manufacturing workshop, assisting across multiple production activities and helping colleagues deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of workshop machinery, including: Amada Quatro Laser, Trumpf Punch Press, Amada Press Brake, Linishing equipment and associated workshop machinery.
  • Select and safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Support the manufacture and assembly of stainless steel products.
  • Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Utilise the company's MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system to support production processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment.
  • Confidence using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Ideally operated a wide range of workshop machinery.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
