Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Field Agent - Meter Reader to join their growing team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role requires working independently, engaging with customers, and supporting high-quality field operations.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately read water meters at customer premises, ensuring timely data collection for billing and operational purposes while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety compliance.
- Visit assigned properties to read meters according to scheduled routes.
- Record meter readings accurately using handheld devices.
- Identify and report faulty, damaged, or tampered meters.
- Note irregularities such as leaks, accessibility issues, or safety hazards.
- Ensure all readings are uploaded or submitted within required timeframes.
- Provide basic assistance and information to customers when required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed routes.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies in the field.
- Report access issues, missed readings, or incidents to supervisors promptly.
- Support investigations into unusually high or low consumption readings.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Comfortable using handheld devices, mobile applications, and digital systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
