Maintenance Engineer (CNC) Full time or Part time considered Permanent 18.00 - 20.00 negotiable Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-14:00 (part time may be considered for the right candidate) Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support busy a u PVC and Aluminium factory.
The Role Carry out daily planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery including; saws, corner cleaners, welding machinery Repairs and servicing will range from sensors and relays to belts, blades and pneumatic.
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimise production downtime Coordinate mandatory inspections and servicing as required Complete hands-on repairs where possible, and when not, escalate and manage specialist support Ensure all maintenance and repairs are fully documented and reports are produced for management.
