Our client based in Basingstoke are currently looking for Distribution Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. They are a well-established business offering a great opportunity to work within a brilliant team, you will efficiently manage the scheduling, tracking, and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate shipments while coordinating with suppliers, drivers, and customers to optimise operations.
Shift patterns and pay rates: 13.06 per hour Monday - Thursday 11:00 - 19:30 Friday 09:00 - 17:30

The role:
- Support the smooth running of outbound warehouse operations.
- Book ELB, liaise with couriers to resolve issues and keep all relevant departments updated.
- Process Duty Free Bond bookings accurately and within required time frames.
- Manage the holding area, ensuring orders requiring rescheduling or return are actioned and communicated to the Distribution Stock team.
- Complete end-of-day returns checks: identify any outstanding returns, investigate and report outcomes to Customer Service and the Distribution Stock team.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in line with vehicle departure schedules and operational deadlines.
