Our client are looking for an experienced and established business development professional to help develop their existing client base along with identifying and on-boarding new clients. They are one of the south's leading electrical wholesalers and distributors with a wide range of products and a geographically diverse customer base. This role will involve travelling to customers across the South of England and you will be required to work in the Hampshire & surrounding areas, with their office located on the outskirts of Southampton, visits to the office will need to be achievable at least once a week.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify business opportunities - including growth areas, trends, partnerships, products and services.
- Proactively schedule appointments and meet with customers/clients face to face to develop business.
Business development: A strong level of technical knowledge on the products we offer would be preferred, but some relevant understanding of industrial electrical products and a willingness to learn would also be considered.
Driving Licence with less than 6 points.
