GI Group are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy production and yard environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for a temporary-to-permanent role with consistent full weekday hours and the chance to develop their skills in a hands-on role.
The Role
You will be working in a production/yard environment supporting the safe and efficient operation of bagging and drying equipment.
Duties will include:
- Operating bagging and drying machinery safely
- Carrying out basic fault finding and reporting issues
- Completing daily checks and preventative measures
- Manual handling of materials and stock
- Using a Counterbalance forklift within the Yard
- Working as part of a team to maintain a safe and tidy workspace
What We're Looking For
- Previous production, warehouse, or yard experience is beneficial
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Following health and safety procedures
