GI Group Humber are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Prepper on behalf of our client based in the Grimsby DN31 area.

Pay & Hours

  • Pay rate: £16.05 per hour
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern
  • Working hours: 06:00 - 18:00
  • Temp to perm opportunity after 12 weeks (subject to performance and attendance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Bodywork preparation including sanding, priming, masking and filling panels
  • Preparing vehicles for paint or repair to a high standard
  • Identifying and reporting any faults, damage or defects
  • Safely driving and manoeuvring vehicles within the site or designated locations
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Previous vehicle preparation/bodywork experience is essential (client requirement)
  • Confident and competent driving and manoeuvring vehicles on site
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work the 4 on 4 off shift rotation
  • Full UK Driving Licence, held for 2 years, 0 points or endorsements on licence (3 points can be accepted, subject to endorsement code)
  • 22 years of age and over
