GI Group Humber are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle SMART Repair Technician on behalf of our client based in the Grimsby DN31 area.

Pay & Hours

  • Pay rate: £16.72 per hour
  • Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
  • Working hours: 06:00 - 18:00
  • Temp to perm opportunity after 12 weeks (subject to performance and attendance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out SMART repairs on vehicles to a high cosmetic standard
  • Repairing minor dents, scratches, bumper scuffs and paint defects
  • Colour matching and blending to achieve quality finishes
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company standards and health & safety procedures
  • Accurately recording work completed and reporting any additional damage or issues

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Aged 22 years or over
  • 0 points or endorsements on licence (up to 3 points may be accepted, subject to endorsement code)
  • Previous experience in SMART repair / bodyshop / cosmetic vehicle repair
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work the 4 on 4 off shift pattern
