A leading UK manufacturer of engineered power generation systems is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operative with strong diesel generator, mechanical assembly, and electrical integration experience. You will be involved in the full lifecycle build of generator packages ranging from 10-2500 kVA, including mechanical assembly, electrical fit out, testing, and occasional site support. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in generator manufacturing, industrial mechanical assembly, rotating machinery, or heavy duty power systems.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- Mechanical and/or electrical assembly of diesel generator sets including:
- Engine-alternator coupling
- Radiator and cooling system installation
- Baseframe and skid assembly
