General Operative Our client in Sittingbourne, is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary to permanent basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift, move and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis by hand. Salary and Benefits: · £13.96 per hour · Monday to Friday · 05:30 – 14:00 and 13:30 – 22:00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work) · Sittingbourne, Kent · 28 days holiday · Weekly pay · Full training and PPE is provided The role: · Working independently as well as within a team · Adhering to Health and Safety procedures · Working within the yard directing incoming traffic · General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis · Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section · Operating machinery Skills and Attributes required: · Ability to always work as a team member and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance · Good timekeeping/reliable · Basic computer skills · Willingness to learn on the job skills for progression · Self-motivation If this role is of interest please apply or call (phone number removed) to join our client\’s team today.
