Our client in Sittingbourne is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary to permanent basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift, move and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £13.96 per hour
  • Overtime (over 40 hours) £20.94 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 05:30 - 14:00 and 13:30 - 22:00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
  • Sittingbourne, Kent
  • 28 days holiday
  • Weekly pay
  • Full training and PPE is provided

The role:

  • Working independently as well as within a team
  • Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
  • Working within the yard directing incoming traffic
  • General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
  • Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section
  • Operating machinery

  • Ability to always work as a team member and on your own ensuring health and safety standards are met.
