Overview
PAY - £14 (£1.20ph increase after 10pm). WORKING HOURS - 8am - 4pm and 4pm - midnight rotating working 5 out of the 7 days.
Forklift Truck Driver job typically involves safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload goods in a warehouse. The driver is responsible for tasks like inventory management, order picking, and ensuring the warehouse area is safe and tidy.
Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Forklift Operation: Moving, loading, and unloading goods using various forklift types, ensuring the safety of self and others.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, stock takes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Order Picking: Collecting goods from designated areas and preparing them for dispatch.
- Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Warehouse Organisation: Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Checking forklift equipment for faults and reporting any issues.
- Adherence to Regulations: Following health and safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicating with team members and following instructions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Truck License (mandatory) RTITB/ ITSSAR/ABA
- Experience operating various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach, etc.).

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks and lifting.
