Hours of work as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:
- Rotating shift pattern:
- Day shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Night shifts: 6:00pm - 6:00am
Pay Rate as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:
- £12.41 per hour + £2.50 shift bonus per hour
What you’ll be doing as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:
This role involves working as part of a fast-paced team to ensure the smooth running of operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to handle and transport goods safely.
- Loading and unloading goods, raw materials, and packaging from trucks and other vehicles.
- Using scanning equipment to track and allocate materials correctly.
- Transporting materials to the production department.
- Operating a low-lift pallet truck as required.
- When the forklift isn’t in use, assisting with general labouring tasks such as sorting and selecting packaging materials.
