Financial Analyst / London / Hybrid 2 days in office / £45000 – £50000 per annum

Are you a commercially minded Financial Analyst with a passion for driving business performance? Our client, a leading life sciences organisation specialising in dermatology are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientated individual to join our UK & Ireland Business Planning & Analysis team. This is a high-impact role supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-growing, matrixed organisation.

You\’ll work closely with senior leadership, providing insightful analysis, managing forecasts and budgets, and turning data into actionable recommendations that drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to support business decisions and evaluate new product launches and trade spend initiatives.
Lead the rolling forecast process for Sales and OPEX, ensuring timely and accurate submissions via PBCS.
Support the annual budget and multi-year planning cycles.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis including Trade Spend, Customer Profitability, and Resource Allocation.
Review and approve purchase requisitions in Coupa, ensuring budget compliance.
Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate performance P&L reporting.
Liaise with regional and global teams on month-end close and ad hoc financial queries.
Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and financial governance standards.Education & Qualifications:

Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) desirable although not essential Experience:

Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a similar role, ideally within Pharma, FMCG, or Big 4 consultancy.
Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IAS.
Experience with financial systems (e.g. PBCS, Coupa) and advanced Excel skills.Skills & Competencies:

Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
