Contract: Part Time Temporary contract - 6 weeks Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - 10am to 5pm
We're looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant to help deliver an excellent day-to-day facilities service for our clients' site. You'll play a key role in ensuring our workplace is safe, clean, well-stocked, well maintained and welcoming for colleagues, tenants and visitors. You'll be the first point of contact on site, supporting reception/switchboard activities, coordinating meeting rooms and post, monitoring contractors and helping resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilities Daily building checks (clean, safe, secure, stocked) and resolve issues
- Reception/switchboard, meeting rooms, post/couriers
- Log and follow up maintenance; oversee planned works and RAMS compliance
- Monitor space use, support sustainability, keep CAFM/PPM/work orders up to date
- Health & Safety Routine checks via AssessNet; record incidents and support investigations
- Act as First Aider/Incident Warden (and Deputy when required); monitor training cover
- Work closely with FM team and onsite stakeholders
- Keep FM procedures up to date; attend meetings and elevate site issues
- Budgets & contracts Monitor contractors and manage internal recharges
Experience:
- Stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
- Training (or willingness to train) First Aid and Fire/Incident Warden
- Asbestos awareness, electrical/gas safety, working at height
- Strong communication; organised and able to prioritise
- Proactive, detail-focused, solutions-led
- Flexible, accountable, knows when to elevate
