The Role - Fabricator:

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the production of high-precision components, ensuring they meet exacting quality standards. Your duties will include:

  • welding of various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel.
  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
  • Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
  • Using precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Fabrication of bespoke components for industries such as aerospace and power generation.
  • Ensuring all work meets industry regulations and safety standards.

The Ideal Candidate - Fabricator:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in 2 of the following disciplines: MIG, TIG, MAG or MMA
  • Apprenticeship trained (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or time-served experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
  • Previous experience working within Aerospace, Nuclear, or Power Generation industries (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
