Are you an experienced Welding Supervisor or Fabrications Foreman ready to take the next step in your career? We\'re looking for a proactive and hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations on the shop floor, lead a skilled team of fabricators and welders, and drive production excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and develop the fabrication team to meet production targets.
* Oversee workflow, labour allocation, and project scheduling.
* Ensure adherence to technical drawings and welding quality standards.
* Promote a safety-first culture and conduct regular safety checks.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and TPM.
* Assist with strategic planning and resource management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
* Proven leadership experience in fabrication or welding.
* Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding and engineering drawings.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Hands-on leadership style with strong communication abilities.
* Commitment to quality, compliance, and safety.
Desirable:
* Experience in Aerospace, Defence, or regulated sectors.
* Familiarity with CNC laser cutting and press brake operations.
* Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Knowledge of EN 15085, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards.
