Job Title: Exam Access Arrangements Assessor
Location: Rotherham

Salary: Up to £32,199 depending on experience

Gi Group are now seeking to appoint an Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to our client based in Rotherham. The Exam Access Arrangements Assessor will work collaboratively to identify and design a support plan for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to enable them to reach their full potential. They will also manage specialist exam arrangements to ensure all appropriate arrangements are made for learners who require them.
Duties of the Exam Access Arrangements Assessor:


* Carry out specialist exam access arrangements for learners
* Complete ALS disclosure screening and conduct additional learning support appointments
* Taking information from EHCPs, referrals, disclosures as well as individual leaner needs, identify and recommend ALS strategies that remover barriers to learning
* Work with the team to ensure support needs are identified early, in line with the SEND Code of Practice
* Work with teams to ensure ALS recommendations are put into place and that learners are supported

Role Criteria:


* A specialist qualification in SEND subject area
* Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
* Understanding of the JCQ exam regulations in relation to exam access arrangements
* A proven ability to plan, prepare and implement support programmes for learners
* Experience and understanding if making safeguarding referrals
