About you

About the role

As a Pre-Brief Clerk, you'll support the Shift Manager with the daily driver pre-brief process, helping to maintain high standards of customer service and ensuring driver compliance with operational procedures. This role is essential in making sure drivers are fully prepared before heading out, enabling a smooth and successful operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all drivers attend pre-brief and support a structured process for driver returns, helping delivery and collection performance to be effectively managed
  • Support driver performance management, including analysing failed deliveries and collections and identifying root causes
  • Use internal systems and databases to review delivery and collection performance and highlight exceptions
  • Ensure returned paperwork/documentation is accurate and reconciled against expectations to protect revenue and support correct billing
  • Validate that all assigned delivery and collection points have been attended as scheduled, and challenge exceptions prior to driver departure
