Join a busy, high-volume transport office supporting daily logistics operations, driver paperwork, POD processing, and gatehouse administration. We're looking for a Transport Administrator with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and confidence working in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment.
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:
- Gatehouse admin - booking in sub-contract drivers, HGVs, and articulated vehicles
- Transport paperwork - processing driver debriefs, PODs, delivery notes, fleet documents
- Customer updates - providing ETA updates, reporting delays, managing delivery queries
- Haulier communication - liaising with third-party hauliers, suppliers, and internal transport teams
- Document control - accurate filing, secure storage, compliance checks
- KPI reporting - supporting daily transport performance reporting
- Planning support - assisting with transport planning, vehicle scheduling, and maintenance admin
What You Bring to the Transport Administrator role:
- Experience in transport administration, logistics admin, transport office, or gatehouse
- Strong organisation and accuracy with high-volume paperwork
- Confident communication with drivers, hauliers, and customers
- Ability to work quickly, calmly, and professionally in a busy PM shift environment
