Our client is a global engineering and technology organisation with a UK-based R&D and engineering centre in the Hampshire area, supporting the development of advanced heat exchanger solutions for High Tech and Green Tech applications. The business works closely with customers in sectors including data centres, heat pumps, and hydrogen technologies, delivering innovative, sustainable products to a global market.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for leading and developing a Process Engineering team, supporting new product introduction and the transfer of products into global manufacturing sites. The role combines technical process expertise with people leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and structured project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach a Process Engineering team within a global matrix organisation
- Define and improve manufacturing processes to support new and existing products
- Support NPI activities and manage global product transfers into manufacturing sites
- Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across processes
- Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, production engineering, HSE, and quality teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined standards
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, or related engineering discipline
- Strong experience in process engineering within a complex manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership or team‑lead experience, ideally in a global or matrix setup
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, industrialisation, and change control
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions and cultures
