Temp to Perm role

Our client are looking for an experienced and established business development professional to help develop their existing client base along with identifying and on-boarding new clients. They are one of the south's leading electrical wholesalers and distributors with a wide range of products and a geographically diverse customer base. This role will involve travelling to customers across the South of England and you will be required to work in the Hampshire & surrounding areas, with their office located on the outskirts of Southampton, visits to the office will need to be achievable at least once a week.

The Role:

  • Research and identify business opportunities - including growth areas, trends, partnerships, products and services.
  • Seek out the appropriate contact/contacts in an organisation.
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers contacts.
  • Proactively schedule appointments and meet with customers/clients face to face to develop business!

The person:

  • Business development: 2 years (preferred)
  • A strong level of technical knowledge on the products we offer would be preferred, but some relevant understanding of industrial electrical products and a willingness to learn would also be considered.
  • Driving Licence with less than 6 points. (required)
