GI Pro are currently hiring Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to work in the London and Greater London area, to join a leading UK energy services provider working with major names like EON, OVO, and EDF.

This role sits within the Metering division - the UK's leading provider of metering services in the energy retail sector. They deliver efficient and flexible solutions for gas, electricity, and water meters.
As a Smart Meter Engineer, you'll join our client's Metering team, supporting major energy suppliers like EON, OVO, and EDF. Your key duties will include:
- Installing smart meters (dual fuel)
- Investigating non-communicating meters
- Handling emergency and maintenance appointments
You’ll work independently in the field, meeting new people daily and delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll explain meter functions and safety clearly and respond quickly to restore gas or electricity during outages.

What you’ll bring:
- A valid UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year, with no more than 6 points)
- Qualifications such as CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel)
- Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
- Previous MOCOPA experience
- Additional (not essential) skills that are a bonus: REGT1, 3-phase, or CT metering
