Gi Group are recruiting for Food Production Hygiene Operative working for a major Poultry production company in Tutbury.

Hours of Work: Tuesday to Saturday 6:00 to finish (breaks unpaid)

Rates of Pay: Day Shift: Basic Pay £13.16 per hour, Overtime Pay paid at Time & 1/2 (£19.74 per hour) Overtime Premium after 40 Hours

Your time at work: You will be working in a chilled and wet environment cleaning the lines/racks using a water pressure gun and chemical, cleaning the walls, ceiling and floor using the squeegee mop. Ensuring that all duties within the defined area are performed to the highest accuracy and standard. You will be trained in using cleaning chemicals, ensuring that all Health and Safety are always adhered to. Report any chemical hazards, equipment defects, machine faults, incidents and accidents to management immediately. Demonstrate accuracy in all aspects of work to ensure quality of service. Maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Speak, read and write in English.
  • You will need to pass the COSHH chemical training.
  • Flexibility needed as training will be provided on afternoons for 2 weeks, from 4pm to 1am.
  • Own transport needed.
