Inventory Associate
Location: Crawley, RH10
Hours: 37.5 per week
Shifts: 06:00 - 14:15 or 14:00 - 22:15
Contract: 6 months
We're recruiting Inventory Associates to join a fast-paced Operations team responsible for receiving, packaging and distributing products across ambient, chilled and frozen areas (including -20°C environments). This is a hands-on role where accuracy, pace and compliance are key.
Inventory Associate Early Shift:
- £13.20 per hour + 10% shift allowance
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 - 14:15
Inventory Associate Late Shift:
- £13.20 per hour + 22% shift allowance
- Monday to Friday
- 14:00 - 22:15
Inventory Associate Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders to meet daily targets
- Receive courier deliveries, book stock into inventory systems and move items to the correct storage locations
- Follow production orders to complete packaging requirements, including room/equipment set-up and clean-down
- Complete GMP paperwork accurately and within timelines
- Carry out inventories, cycle counts and support waste disposal processes
- Work to SOPs, maintaining excellent housekeeping and a safe working environment
- Use PPE correctly and follow cGMP, safety and quality standards at all times
- Support continuous improvement activities (Lean / process improvements)
- Escalate health & safety/quality risks, near misses and incidents to line management
- Support ad-hoc tasks as required by the team
Inventory Associate Requirements:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- IT literate and comfortable using inventory software/systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A proactive, team-focused approach with good communication skills
- Able and willing to work in ambient, cold-chain and -20°C areas as needed
- Desirable: experience in a GxP/cGMP environment and/or handling biological or pharmaceutical materials
