Overtime Rate: £27.26 per hour after 40 hours
Shift Time: 03:00am start
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Gi Group are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to work on-site with one of our well-known parcel delivery clients based in Cornwall (PL26).
Duties for Class 1 Shunter will include:
- Shunting trailers between the main site and off-site parking locations
- Completing a small number of customer collections as required
- Conducting vehicle pre-checks and reporting any defects/maintenance issues
- Ensuring safe, timely movement of trailers in line with site rules and schedules
- Complying with transport regulations and company policies
Driver Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Previous shunting experience (essential)
- Driving experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
