The Colleague Experience Assistant supports the delivery of a positive, engaging and compliant colleague experience across the site. Working closely with the Colleague Experience Lead and People Services Assistant, the role focuses on supporting colleague engagement activities, onboarding processes, and internal communications, helping to drive a supportive and inclusive working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and delivery of colleague engagement activities across warehouse and transport teams
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive workplace that supports colleague wellbeing and retention
- Provide administrative support across the colleague lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding processes
- Complete pre-employment checks, including right to work documentation and compliance requirements
- Assist in delivering engaging and organised new starter inductions
- Prepare onboarding materials to ensure a consistent and welcoming experience
- Support the creation and distribution of site-wide communications, both digital and physical
- Maintain communication boards and ensure colleagues are kept informed of updates
- Assist with people compliance checks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Support the management, ordering and distribution of PPE, uniform and stationery ensuring stock control and cost efficiency
- Assist with the delivery of reward, recognition and benefits programmes
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Colleague Experience Lead
- Build effective working relationships across teams and act as a visible, approachable contact for colleagues
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Clear and confident communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
- Experience in administration and data input (essential)
- Experience in a fast-paced or logistics environment (desirable)
